Dishonest business model - Unlimited wifi North America
They had a few terms hidden in their long agreement that few people would have time to read thoroughly or understand easily.
To give you a few examples:
(1) when you purchased a premium North American wifi services and when you travelled to other countries, even though you have no intention to use Boingo wifi, your devices will be automatically connected the destination's wifi, and you will be charged with outrageous premium charges for every single minute.
(2) when you wanted to cancel the account, they will use all excuses not to delete your information.
(3) when other people hacked your account or had your account user names / password and used your accounts in other places, Boingo will not reverse any of these charges that did not belong to you. In other words, it is your responsibility when your Boingo identity got stolen because they leaked it or you were not careful
